Ministries

Bible Studies

The purpose of the Bible Study sessions is to teach sound Biblical doctrine in an engaging way in order to stimulate spiritual growth and gain a sound understanding of the scriptures. We also have one to one bible sessions for those who are new to the faith. We meet at 8 pm on the first and third Thursdays of each month for bible study in English and second and fourth Thursdays in Tamil.

Prayer Meetings

The Prayer Team meets every morning at 6 am and every evening at 9 pm for prayer. A fasting and prayer meeting is held at 3pm on the first Saturday of the month. We meet at different homes. We fast and pray as a Church for a week on a regular basis for a closer walk with God and to expect a break through. At the end of each day we have a telephone conference call and pray together.

Children

Our aim is to lead children towards a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and to provide a loving learning environment in which to grow. We cater for children from 3 – 12 years in our Sunday school group (Explorers). All our Sunday School Teachers have undergone training on Child Protection and Vulnerable Adults.

Teens

Our aim is to provide a nourishing environment for the teens to grow in faith and worship from their heart, mind and soul. Teens take this chance to grow in the word of God through meaningful discussions with responsible and passionate leaders. Anyone interested in becoming a part of the Teens’ worship team are also welcome. Teens hangout takes place every Monday between 6 and 7 pm.

Young Adults Life Group

Our vision is to educate in the core principles of Christian faith and the values based on the word of God. Edify by having a closer walk with God and understand the importance of the Holy Spirit in their lives. Enhance their skills to be future leaders and visionaries. Encourage them to live a healthy life – physically, spiritually and emotionally. We have various team building activities planned during the year. Life group takes place every Wednesday between 6:30 and 9 pm.

Worship

Our aim is to serve God and bring glory to Him through the gifts that He has given us. Our worship team is dedicated to glorifying God in our music and allowing the Holy Spirit to move freely in our congregation as we worship Him in spirit and in truth. If you are interested in singing or playing an instrument, join our worship practice every 2nd and 4th Fridays of the month.

Men's Fellowship

Men meet on every Sunday to simply share their needs and to pray together for their families and the Church. The heart of the men’s ministry is prayer and encouragement of the practical application of the bible into daily lives. Our meetings both as a group and as individuals help develop their Christian thinking and provide an environment in which Christians will grow and serve the community.

Ladies' Fellowship

Women meet to encourage one another in their relationships, spiritual life, and growth. The ministry exists to inspire, support and equip one another for God’s ministry. We come together in prayer, bible study and fellowship. Don’t miss special events organised for baking, cooking or just spending time together.

International Students

We warmly welcome International Students to our Church We are committed to equipping students to be God-dependent, bible-centred and grow in the knowledge and love of God though our Sunday services and young adults ministry.

We organise International Students Night at the beginning of the every university term (typically February and September) to welcome new students into Aberdeen.

Missions

We are obedient to do what God calls us to do, to be his witnesses, live by faith and share the Gospel with the world. We are involved in outreach ministry in the community. We hold a Christmas Celebration service in December every year where we warmly welcome people of all faiths. We hold a family camp in April ever year and invite speakers from India.
